Մի խանութպան է լինում,նա մեղր էր վաճառում, մեղրից մի կաթիլ կաթաց գետնին, միջատը տեսավ ու թռավ մեղրի վրա, հետո կատուն թռավ միջատի վրա, հետո շունը թռավ կատվի վրա ու կատվին խեղտեց, խանութպանն էլ սպանեց շանը։ Երբ շան տերը իմացավ, որ խանութպանը սպանել է իր շանը, գնաց ու շան տերը սպանեց խանութպանին, հետո մարդիկ իմացան, որ շան տերը սպանել է խանութպանին, գնացին ու պատերազմ արին։ Այդ ամենը մի կաթիլ մեղրի պատճառով։

Այս առակը մեզ սովորեցրեց այն, որ չպետք է ամեն մանրուքից մարդիկ վիճեն, առավել ևս վեճը վերածվի կռվի։
