New Year is the most favorite holiday in Armenia. It is especially  loved by the children, because they don’t go to school and get a lot of presents. In Armenia the New Year starts at the midnight of the 31^st of December. Armenians usually start getting ready for New Year in advance : we find the best presents, decorate our flat with garlands and the New Year tree . The most important part of the New Year celebration is a festive table. We make dolma, chicken,  fish, kufta and ishli kufta. After celebrating and wishing happy New Year to each other Armenians start to visit their relatives and friends .
